Katherine Sandoval, PA-C is a dedicated physician assistant specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Katherine attended UC Santa Barbara for her undergraduate studies where she graduated Cum Laude. She then went on to earn her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Marshall B. Ketchum University, where she received the award for Clinical Excellence upon graduation in 2021. Katherine is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and is currently completing their Diplomatic Fellowship course. She strives to provide quality, evidenced-based care for her patients and continually spends time at conferences and reading literature to stay up-to-date with the latest treatments.
Prior to attending PA school, Katherine worked as a medical assistant here at SBSI where her love for dermatology first developed. She is excited to be back and serving the patients of Santa Barbara.
Katherine currently resides in Santa Barbara with her husband, Albert, and their dog, Booker. She enjoys staying active with pilates, exploring wine country and traveling.
